Their guidance helps ensure that the project’s research and innovations remain scientifically robust, user-centred, and relevant to real-world deployment.
Dr. Christian Sahr
AZT Automotive GmbH
Managing director of AZT Allianz Center for Technology, the Allianz research Center for safe, sustainable and affordable mobility. He studied automotive engineering at RWTH Aachen University. After graduating, he took over the management of a crash facility and completed his doctorate in the field of car body development. He then worked for 15 years in management positions for companies that carried out pre-development and research in future vehicle safety structures as well as series development for complete vehicles for various car manufacturers internationally.
Prof. John D. Lee
University of Wisconsin–Madison
Emerson Electric Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at the University of Wisconsin–Madison and Director of the Cognitive Systems Laboratory. His research focuses on trust calibration, driver attention, and safe engagement with SAE Level 2–3 automation. His influential 2004 review shaped the field’s understanding of trust in automation, while his driver-distraction research led to real-time detection and feedback systems. He has authored over 270 articles and the textbook Designing for People, testified before the U.S. Senate, and served on National Academies committees.
Christina Marx
Aktion Mensch e.V.
As a certified professional interpreter and communications consultant, Christina Marx serves as spokesperson for the association, shaping its strategic partnerships and external relations focusing on inclusion. Prior to joining Aktion Mensch in 2013, she spent two decades designing and directing impactful campaigns and projects for disability organizations and government ministries, establishing herself as a leading voice in inclusive communication and advocacy.
